Timestamp: Turn 1 Njal looked at the map. He had been in charge before, but somehow, without the King to take responsibility if something went bad, Njal felt a heavier burden. He was now completely responsible for the Orcades. He felt up to the challenge and frowned at the map.
"Landmarks, cities, names, even island names, are missing fae this map," Njal remarked.
"Aye mi lord. Tis a work in progress," replied the mapmaker.
Njal looked at the map again.
Over the next few months, Njal set out to identify the various islands. He visited the various dwarven villages. As a conspicuous dvergar, he drew the attention of the various leaders. His knowledge of etiquette and his ability to issue commands enabled him to delegate the various tasks to the leaders of the villagers, marking a single leader for a single village on each island. These would later be added to the map by the mapmaker, once the various leaders reported back to him. After months of traveling from island to island, even visiting the Hebrides for the seasonal Council Meeting, he returned to his hometown of Kirkwaa on Mainland and awaited the reports and the mapmaker. He sat in his office and perused his notes. - Ospak Hromundsson of Hollandstoun on Rinansey
