You send one or more active holdings and a leader into an adjacent province, with the goal of conquest or razing as much of the enemy’s holdings and infrastructure as possible. A declaration of war is necessary.
Declare War (Free Action): You declare your intent to wage war upon an enemy. The following turn, you may wage war without penalties on that domain.
Wage War: You may group together as many holdings levels in a province as you wish under the command of a leader to wage a war of conquest and destruction upon an enemy.
Obstacle: Bloody Versus test
The targeted holding gets the following dice: Level of holding + 3 or skill of leader involved (if any, if higher) (and FoRKs, etc...)
You receive the following modifiers: Active Holding Levels + skill of leader involved (if any, if higher) (and FoRKs, etc...)
Each side must (secretly) select how many dice to place in their offensive and their defensive pool.
Successes in a defensive pool reduce successes in an offensive pool
Leftover offensive successes reduce enemy holdings by 1 per success. If enemy holdings are reduced to 0, then you may reduce province levels, or you may wish to leave them to engage in a diplomatic takeover attempt.
Leaders are likely to be injured in battle, based on offensive dice successes, skill used and roleplay.
