Turn 2, Summer of 677
The dwarves have begun the arduous task of clearing out age-old tunnels to re-connect their once great realm. Little word reaches the realms of the humans of these efforts, but is a new golden age on the horizon for the dwarves, or will the tunnels prove too challenging to clear out and re-open to trivial use?
Clansmen have followed a blood-magic practicing druid into the province of Aberdeen. He appears to have collected a retinue of undeads with which to harass humans, sidhe and dwarf alike. But will the Sidhe allow humans to trespass upon their lands?
While working in Argyll, Donchad MacGear under the service of Philip Thraw claims to have found gold. Gold! Now all he needs is many able-bodied men to work the lands in search of the gold.
The undead were seen in Caithness and Sudrland, harassing poor Lothians. Nobody feels sorry for them, except for the Lothians, but it does seem as if leaders from all over the north united in battle against their common enemy. Will the humans unite under a single banner, or is this a short-lived friendship against common enemies?

Turn 3, Autumn of 677
Raiders upon the North Shores! Dwarves engaged in the taking of thralls? What madness does this comet visit upon our world, lament the lamentable Lothians? It seems some may actually feel sorry for them for once.
While dwarves raid upon one shore, humans have engaged in a different kind of raiding on another shore. Under the guidance of Muirchertach and Donchad, and other lesser nobles, many merchant vessels visited the Hebrides. Drawn by gold, a more permanent trade outpost was ultimately established to the benefit of Donchad under the leadership of some local (normal? greedy?) dwarves.
The men in the south stir. They send emissaries to foreign lands. They gather.
Evil druids stalk the realm of Aberdeen. Little action is forthcoming from the elusive Sidhe. Some Sidhe align themselves with Muirchertach in the hopes of an opportunity to deal with the necromancers of the land.
